How to Get Here

BY PLANE
There are direct national and international flights arriving daily to Malpensa airport which is 80 km from Albagnano di Bèe. Alternatively there are flights to Milan Linate airport. From the airport there is a bus service (running from the Sunday before Easter until the end of October) which takes you to Verbania Intra - Imbarcadero vecchio (1) Autotrasporti Nerini +39-0323-552172 (Office opening hours 09.00-12.30 14.30 -17.30) For the rest of the year the bus service from the airport will take you to Gravellona. From Gravellona there is a bus service to Intra, bus stop Imbarcadero vecchio (1) Autotrasporti Comasi +39-0324 -240333 (Office opening hours 8-12 14.30-18) For these services it is necessary to book one day in advance.

BY TRAIN
At Verbania station - Pallanza (line- Milano Domodossola- Geneva or Basel) a bus service will take you to Imbarcadero vecchio (1) From Milano Cadorna and Varese you can take the Ferrovie nord to Laveno and the take the ferry to Verbania Intra (1)

BY CAR
From Locarno: after passing the Italian border follow the signs for Verbania-Intra (2) From Brig: it is possible to use the car train Brig - Iselle (for timetables and information www.cff.ch) or cross the Semplon Pass and then follow the signs for Domodossola or Milano. Once you have passed the Italian border take the superstrada towards Milano, Exit: Verbania (2) From Milano: from the motorway A8 signposted “Milano Laghi” take the A26 towards Gravellona Toce. Exit: Baveno Stresa (2)
From Genova: motorway A26 Genova-Gravellona Toce. Exit: Baveno Stresa (2) From Torino: from the motorway A4 “Torino-Milano” take the A26 towards Gravellona. Exit: Baveno Stresa (2) From Varese: From the A8 towards Milano take the A26 towards Gravellona Toce. Exit: Baveno Stresa (2) or go to Laveno and take the regular ferry service which will take you to Verbania-Intra (2)

BY BOAT
A regular service links Intra to Laveno and to other towns around the Lake Maggiore.

(1) the local bus service, direction Premeno, will take you to Bèe.

(2) follow the instructions for Verbania. From Verbania follow the instructions for Premeno. On the road to Premeno turn right at the sign for Arizzano, go through the village and follow the signs for Caronio-Carciago, after less than a kilometre, near the Pizzeria Ai Mulini, take the road to the left signposted Albagnano (strada chiusa), which will bring you directly to the car park of the Centre.
